Okay those of you who know my husband will know that it is not normally a good idea to have him go shopping. He LOVES to get extra things that are not on the list which kill my budget. Well with the gas prices through the roof(and he works across the street from one) and the fact that I will soon have 4 kids with me everyday I am going to have him get the things from Randalls that are a great price, that can't be priced matched at walmart. There are things like Buy 2 Get3 Free this week on soda that you can't price match because there isn't a listed price, also they have Buy 4 Save $4 on cereal this week. So here is what he got
3 Mt. Dews
2 Dr. Peppers 2 at $5.99 = $11.98 other 3 FREE so $2.40 a 12 pack
4 Cinn Toast Crunch $1.99 - $1/2 = $5.96
2 Cookie Crisp $1.99- $.75/1 = $2.48
2 honey Nut Cheerioes $1.99- $.55/1 = $2.88
So $24.20, I know that is more than a $1 a box for cereal which is normally my price point. However with the prices going up everywhere I am having to move it up not sure how much right now but it is looking like $1.50 probably. We go through a lot of cereal around here so I always need more!
$228.89- $24.20 = $204.69
